About Us
Welcome to We The Leaders, a new political movement founded by K. Annamalai, aimed at transforming the way politics is done. Our mission is to bring ‘common man politics’ to the forefront, moving away from ‘cult and dynastic politics’ and fostering a more inclusive, conscious, and community-driven approach to governance.
Our History
We The Leaders was officially launched on June 5, 2026, by K. Annamalai, a former Tamil Nadu BJP president and ex-IPS officer, after he resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The movement was created as a precursor to a full-fledged political party, with the goal of transforming into a party after training and building a cadre base, with plans to contest the next Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
